Partener of Klüber Lubrication

TRCI is the official representative of Klüber Lubrication, a world market leader in specialty lubricants. With decades of research and application know-how, Klüber greases are designed to deliver reliable performance and sustained protection where conventional lubricants may fall short.

Protect your machines against wear and corrosion — mechanically and economically.

Why grease lubrication?

Greases are the ideal choice when you want long-lasting lubrication at the friction point, especially where relubrication is difficult or oil would not stay in place.

Typical grease composition (approx.):

  • 75% lubricating oil

  • 15% thickener

  • Up to 10% additives

Grease lubrication is often preferred when:

  • Lubrication points are not fully sealed, and the grease consistency helps keep the base oil where it’s needed

  • Relubrication is not possible or access is limited

  • You want a simpler solution with reduced sealing requirements

Advantages of grease lubrication:

  • Simpler system design (often fewer sealing requirements)

  • Longer service life with reduced maintenance effort

  • Often enables lifetime lubrication (depending on application and design)

  • Lower lubricant consumption and improved sealing effect

  • Controlled supply of base oil to the friction point over time

Grease lubrication vs. oil / fluid lubrication

Grease typically stays longer at the friction point and supports long-term protection.
Oil / fluid lubrication is often selected where continuous flow, heat removal, or specific operating conditions make it more suitable.

Examples

  • Grease applications: high-speed spindle bearings in machine tools (low surface pressure)

  • Oil/fluid applications: large drives with high surface pressures and low speed

ROI with optimal grease lubrication

Boost reliability and reduce downtime with a grease that matches your operating conditions. Our portfolio includes more than 1,500 lubricating greases to precisely match individual requirements, including options for:

  • High-temperature and low-temperature operation

  • High-speed bearings

  • Heavy-duty and shock-load conditions

  • H1 lubricating greases (where required)

Greases for your application

We supply and support grease solutions for:

  • Rolling bearings & plain bearings

  • Gears

  • Plastics and compatible material pairings

  • Electrical contacts

  • Industrial valves, fittings & actuators

  • Pneumatic systems and components

Need help selecting the right grease?

The right choice depends on your machine design and operating conditions. Send us the details below and our team will recommend the best-fit product and relubrication approach:

  • Component type (bearing/gear/valve/etc.) and basic specs

  • Speed and load (or duty cycle)

  • Operating temperature range

  • Environment (water, dust, chemicals, washdown, outdoor, etc.)

  • Relubrication method (manual, single-point, centralized)

  • Any required approvals (e.g., H1)

  • Current lubricant in use (for compatibility considerations)

FAQ

When should I use grease instead of oil?

Grease is often preferred when lubrication points are not sealed, when oil would leak away, or when long relubrication intervals and simpler sealing are priorities.

Grease compatibility depends on thickener type and base oil. Switching may require purging or cleaning. Share your current grease and application details and we’ll advise the safest changeover.

H1 greases are designed for applications where incidental food contact may occur, when required by the process and compliance needs.

Selection depends on base oil viscosity, thickener type, additives, and the component design. Provide temperature, speed, and load data and we’ll recommend the right option.

Yes — TRCI supports lubrication solutions beyond products, including options for automated or centralized lubrication where applicable.
