What are industrial gaskets?

Spiral Wound Gaskets

Spiral wound gaskets combine metal and filler materials to deliver reliable sealing under higher pressures and temperatures. Their excellent resilience makes them ideal for steam and process lines, especially where thermal cycling occurs. The optimal configuration depends on flange type and required stability.

Ring Type Joint (RTJ) Gaskets

RTJ gaskets are precision-engineered metal rings designed for high-pressure, high-integrity flange connections. They require matched groove flanges and the correct material selection to suit the medium and operating conditions. RTJ gaskets are ideal where controlled sealing and maximum robustness are essential.

Best for: High-pressure applications and critical joints with RTJ flanges.

Graphite & High-Temperature Sealing Materials

Graphite-based gaskets and high-temperature sealing solutions provide reliable performance in demanding conditions, including elevated temperatures, steam, and aggressive media. Proper selection depends on oxidation conditions, flange stress, and the required sealing class.

Best for: High-temperature applications and challenging process conditions (selection-dependent).
